<title>Linde Werdelin - Oktopus Tattoo - Henning From Royal Tattoo</title>
<link>http://watchblog.dk</link>
<description>
Body art aka Tattoos - many people have them - I guess more that you would think as they can be placed on your body in a less than visible place. I for one have 1-2 tattoos but I don't think more than a handful of my friends know about it - placed on my upper body ;-)....

<title>The digital age and the photos from the past.</title>
<link>http://watchblog.dk</link>
<description>
As I have poster before - the many smartphones with their ability to make old times photos are the new Black. I continue to see people posting photos made with their smartphones - being it Apple, HTC, Samsung, Ericsson etc.
We have the newest digital equipment - and try to simulate old days
I like the idea - it bring back memory from the OLD days when I made a living with my trusty old Nikon F3,4,5 and slide films and B and W films.
Just to make i clear - you had one speed - the max was 1600 asa/iso in BW and color - in a tight spot you could make it 3200 asa/iso with BW.
This was just a couple of restrictions - the next major issue was that after you made the shoot - you had to develop the film, in best case - you develop in about 2 hours - but normally you would collect a number of films and develop in a batch.

<title>Watches and bands - the trend is here to stay</title>
<link>http://watchblog.dk</link>
<description>
Lets face it - I'm no metro-man - I don't use fancy cream, don't use that much money on the latest fashion statements or use money on jewelery in general (I leave that to my wife ;-)).
Lately I have seen many people i the WIS world with many kinds of bracelets - aka leather, craniums, beads, etc...
Somehow these bracelets would be a little overkill for my taste - I could probably look smart but if they are me I',m not sure...

<title>Danish watch seller - First Watch - good idea</title>
<link>http://watchblog.dk</link>
<description>
Again and again I'm asked by people - what watch should I buy - and that is a difficult question to answer - because different people have different taste.
But somehow my taste is a "little" to expensive compared to what a first "real" watch can cost.
When your on the lookout for watches in the Rolex, Panerai, iwc and others your have made up your own mind that this is watch must cost and that is OK. But when your starting out on this watch quest - you tend to start with good brand - but not up in the expensive to very expensive level.

<title>Do they want my money or what? What are they thinking!!!</title>
<link>http://watchblog.dk</link>
<description>
Sometimes I have heard about people being handled less than good at different watchshop, but have never really been in that kind of situation. Well until now.

I went for some shoping in Copenhagen - and planned a visit to the Rolex AD where I before have brought Rolex from new and have used them for all service on my Rolex.
This time I was in to check out the AP ROO (black theme) - get it in the hands and try it out. Well the AP ROO is about 3 times more expensive than a deep sea or daytona (or the same price as a car in Denmark) - so I think it is OK to try a watch more than once before buying it.

<title>My trusty old Nikon D70 is close to dead.</title>
<link>http://watchblog.dk</link>
<description>
All my photos (well majority) is made with this old Nikon digital camera - the Nikon D70 with std. Smolensk (18-75). But after so many years (+6 years) as a main camera (before that it was my Nikon F5 and Nikon F3) - it looks as the time has come to replace it.

The Camera have been my beater camera - meaning - I do not baby that either ;-) - better to be ready and take photos - than baby and NOT take photos - that is my way of working.
And ANY new camera will be a BIG improvement over this old camera - the technology moves very fast in this area, and the D70 has served my very well over the years.

So goodbye Nikon D70 .... and welcome - yes what should I get?.

<title>This is why I need a watch that is a beater ;-)</title>
<link>http://watchblog.dk</link>
<description>
The weekend in the summerhouse also had some manually work to be performed.
I did manage to decrease the number of logs to about half after some days - but I still have some work left to beat.

And did try to remember to put my watch in the pocket when I started on this work - but many times I forgot - so that is WHY I need a watch that can take a beating and keep on ticking.

<title>It is OK to be jealous ;-)</title>
<link>http://watchblog.dk</link>
<description>
One of my friends have found a very nice Omega Seamaster 300 from 1967 - with all the best patina to be expected.
This watch has been on my list ever since I saw the National Geographic Ad for Omega.
The Omega Seamaster 300 is the forerunner for the Rolex Milsub - with sword hands 60 min rotating bezel.
The story goes that the Omega Seamaster 300 was found to be to defective with to much maintenance for the watches used by the UK military.
If you can find one original UK milspec. Omega Seamaster - your lucky. Next best thing is to find a Seamaster 300 in original condition.

And this is what my friend did - found a nice Seamaster 300 - as original as possible. And I'm jealous - and I think this is OK.
